Test LP and CO detectors per maker guidance. Replace on expiration — an expired detector is a false sense of safety.
Leak response
No sparks, no stove lighting, ventilate, close tank valve, leave the space. Soap-solution checks are for cold systems by competent hands — not a lit match.
Appliances
Yellow tips, soot, or delayed ignition mean stop and diagnose. Incomplete combustion makes CO.
Storage
Cylinders upright and secured. Regulators and hoses are wear items — cracked hose is a replace-now.
